Teacher Spotlight, Kim Caldwell
Assistant Teacher, Kitties Class (2 year olds – 2 1/2 year olds)
“I graduated high school at Parkland High School in Winston Salem, North Carolina. During my senior year, I worked part time at Maplewood Children’s Center. After graduating, I became a full time preschool teacher. I also worked at the educational care center at Clay Middle School for two years in their young 2’s classroom. Ever since I was in high school I wanted to work with children. I’m married to my best friend, Mike, and he is an amazing husband. We have two children, Christopher and Kyra. I come from a big family; I have six sisters. A lot of my extended family live in different parts of Florida. I love to garden and cook especially during the holidays. I also enjoy working out and jogging with my dog, Onyx. My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. What most people don’t know about me is I am an avid collector of Disney movies.
Two of the things I like most about working at The Little Lamb Christian School are the teachers and the atmosphere. It’s an amazing place to work. My favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 11:1: ‘Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.’”
We are so blessed to have Kim as a part of our Little Lamb Family! She is a wonderful, hands-on teacher who treats each child like a unique gift from God. Thank you, Kim, for all that you do!
