We are pleased to introduce Meghan Shugart as our March Teacher Spotlight. Meghan is the assistant in the pre-kindergarten classroom and we are so happy she joined our team in January!
“I am excited to work at The Little Lamb because I think it is a great opportunity to work with children. It is great to be able to see that I can help children learn, and be a part of their day. My family consists of my dad Gary, my mom Jeanie, older sister Bethany, older brother Nathan, and his wife, Zoe. My dad works for a construction company and my mom is an I.A. at Westfield Intermediate School for the special needs class. I have lived in the same house all my life, in Zionsville. I was homeschooled for 7 years, and then completed my high school at Zionsville Community High School. I completed one year at Indiana Wesleyan University studying marketing. I am planning to keep taking courses to eventually earn a degree!
I love to spend time with my family and friends, whether it be playing card games or just watching movies together. I love to read books, as well as work puzzles. My favorite candy is basically anything chocolate! Chocolate covered fruit, or just candy bars. Something people may not know about me is that I play the piano! I have played since I was 6 years old, and still try to play as often as I can. I love music, and am grateful when I get to use the talents God gave me to serve Him in church, as well as playing for fun.”
“‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
