Congratulations to the Estes Family for being our August Family of the Month! David and Laura Estes are the parents of Lucas who is in our Pre-kindergarten class and Olivia who is in our Pandas’ class. We asked David and Laura to share a little bit about their family.
“Our favorite family activities are spending time at Laura’s parents houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake. Exploring the bank to find neat rocks and geodes and playing in the water fill our time there. We also enjoy family movie time with popcorn and snuggley blankets. Our kids love having people over to our house and the excitement that comes with setting up parties. I think they would love to have their Little Lamb friends over every weekend if they could. 🙂
David works from home for Bertram Capital, a capital investment company in San Mateo, CA as a Software Engineer. He serves in a dual role as the VP of Engineering at Morpheus Data (a cloud application platform). Laura works for Richmond Property Group, Alpha Tau Omega’s real estate division, downtown as the Operations Manager. David volunteers regularly as an audio engineer at Traders Point Christian Church and Laura volunteers as a chapter advisor to Sigma Delta Tau sorority at Purdue University, where she was an undergraduate member.
David and Laura both attended Purdue University. David received a BS in Electrical Engineering and Laura obtained a BS in Organizational Leadership & Supervision. She also attended Ball State for a MA in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education.”
