This morning we hosted our annual trike-a-thon to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The children were so eager to show off their riding skills. We had a variety of bikes, trikes, wagons and push toys. It was an absolute joy! There’s something special about the simple pleasure of being outside on a gorgeous day like today! We couldn’t have asked for better weather!
Throughout the week we learned about bike safety through a series of educational videos, coloring books and stories provided by St. Jude!
The trike-a-thon teaches the children a valuable lesson in helping others. The money we raised will help support the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. We’re always looking for different ways to teach the children about generosity, compassion, kindness, and love. What a perfect way!
Parent helpers are always welcome! Grandparent helpers are too!
