When did you start working at The Little Lamb Christian school?: “August 3rd 2020”
How long have you been working with children? Tell us about your background: “I have worked with children in some capacity for 12 years. I volunteered with the Elwood branch of the North Madison County Public Library System’s programming for 7 years, and then took over planning and putting on all k-12th grades programming for a year after that. I also worked at the Elwood YMCA in various youth services roles such as assisting in planning and leading sports camps, child watch hours, day camps, and after school care for 2 years. I was a live in nanny for a year. I taught Tae Kwon Do to 5-10 year olds at House of Kim for 4 years. I volunteered with my old church in their VBS, nursery, and middle school mentorship programs for 4 years.”
Education: “I was homeschooled 3yrs-12th grade with the Abeka curriculum and then I have 1 semester at Ivy Tech for early childhood education.”
Tell us about your family: “I was raised in a Christian household. My dad is an engineer and my mom stayed home to homeschool and raise us. I have two sisters and 1 brother. One sister is 10 months younger than me and one sister is less than 2 years younger than me, so we grew up as best friends. My parents would put me to bed each night and before they would turn out the lights, they would say God loves you, mom loves you and daddy loves you. They never let me forget God’s commands and standards for our lives. I’m thankful for my family.”
Hobbies: “Skateboarding, hiking, traveling, watching movies, reading, listening to podcasts, creating art/diy projects, disc golf, fishing, mountain biking”
Favorite candy: “Any. I’ve always loved sugary treats, maybe a little too much!”
Favorite movie: “Because of Winn Dixie is one of my favorite childhood movies.”
Favorite music: “I love a lot of different genres. If I had time pick though, probably country at the moment.”
Tell us something that most people don’t know about you: “I worked as a hairstylist and in the fashion industry for 3 and a half years.”
Why do you love working with children?: “I have always had a love for sharing God, reading, art, learning and for serving others. Working with children you get to tap into all of those things. You get to help encourage a love of all these things in the next generation and I love that. I also love how fun, exciting and light it is to work with children.”
What do you enjoy most about working at the Little Lamb Christian School: “My favorite thing is how engrained God is into our everyday.”

“Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?
