Hannah Masters, Lead Teacher in Pandas Classroom
When did you start working at The Little Lamb Christian School?: “September 2015”
How long have you been working with children? Tell us about your background: “In high school, I enjoyed volunteering at the elementary school so I decided on elementary education for my college major initially. Then, while I was in college, I started working at a daycare and absolutely fell in love with the age group, so I switched my major to early childhood education. I have been working with children for over 10 years.”
Education: “Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech College.”
Tell us about your family: “I met my husband Mike at a college Christian ministry called Campus Outreach. We got married in 2015 and Mike works for Chick-fil-A. I have a son, Ezra, who is almost 4 and is in my class, and a son Jonah, who is almost 2 and is in the Kitties class. We also have a dog named Thor.”
Hobbies: “Playing outside with my family and taking walks.”
Favorite Candy: “Reese’s”
Favorite Movie: “Anything Disney.”
Favorite Music: “Christian pop or country. I like all music and don’t really have a favorite.”
Tell us something that most people don’t know about you: “I didn’t meet my brother or know about him until I was 10 years old. He was given up for adoption and raised by another family.”
Why do you love to work with young children?: “The children make me laugh every day! I also love getting to teach them about Jesus’ love. “
What do you enjoy most about working at The Little Lamb Christian School?: ”Teaching at a school where I can talk to them about Jesus. I also have the best coworkers.”
Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
