June Family of the Month

Meet our June Family of the Month, the Williams-Snyder family! Scott and Cynthia’s daughter, Leah-Catherine, is in our Pre-kindergarten class and has been attending our school since 2011!  We asked them to share a little bit about their family and what they enjoy doing together.
“We have a ton of favorite things to do. We love to laugh and have fun as much as possible. We do a lot of make believe and pretending. We love to go to the zoo many times throughout the year and we love to go to the state fair every year. We will go once as a family then Leah-Catherine and I will go and stay all day and ride as many rides as we can before they kick us out. We love swimming and swim parks, fall festivals with hay rides, fire pits and roasting marshmallows, face painting, roller coasters… the faster the better for Leah-Catherine. Every year, for the 4th of July, we go to Carmel’s festival and watch fireworks and then Scott will buy tons of big loud
fireworks and shoot them off in the back yard. That’s a great time! Leah-Catherine has a grandmother (Kathy) and grandfather (Barry) who retired here last year from Arizona to be closer to us. She loves spending time with them. They blow bubbles, pretend they are mermaids, play hide and seek and tag and the most fun is when they have an indoor snowball fight. There is a lot of laughing. She has another Grandmother (Crystal) that she also loves spending time with. With this grandmother, she loves to go on walks and shop and get pedicures and plant flowers on the back deck. Our favorite place to eat at is Sapporo Japanese Steak house. We always sit at the hibachi tables so we can enjoy the cooks and the volcano made of onions. Scott owns a landscape Business called S&S Lawncare and I have two occupations. I am a dental assistant at Cornerstone Dentistry in Carmel and a real estate agent with Keller Williams. Leah-Catherine is taking swim lessons and is in ballet and tap class. Her best friend is Vivian and they have been best friend’s since they were in the infant room together.
We have really loved our time with Little Lamb. We have been at Little Lamb since Leah-Catherine was 6 months old. The time has gone by so fast. We are so sad to be moving on in the fall. Leah-Catherine will be attending Traders Point Christian Academy for Kindergarten starting in August. She is very excited to be continuing with a Christian school. Leah-Catherine tells me that she wants to be the person who stands on stage at church and tells everyone about God and Jesus and what They have done for us. She wants to tell the whole world that!!! I am so proud of the little person she is. Little Lamb has been instrumental in that.”

Thank you for choosing The Little Lamb Christian School for your family!
